CURRENT ISSUES IN ORGANIZING THE ACADEMIC PROCESS AND PREPARING FOR THE SECOND SEMESTER DISCUSSED

Sarsen Amanzholov East Kazakhstan University held a working meeting involving representatives of the structural units of the Department of Academic Policy and Educational Program Management.

The meeting focused on the organization of the educational process, academic planning, and preparations for the beginning of the second semester of the academic year.

During the meeting, participants discussed the preparation of the class schedule and student registration for second-semester courses. Particular attention was paid to ensuring that the schedule is prepared in a timely and effective manner, taking into account educational program curricula, the number of academic groups, faculty workload, and the efficient use of classroom facilities.

The organization of student registration for second-semester courses was also considered separately. Participants discussed registration opening dates, the accuracy of data in the information system, the formation of academic streams and groups, as well as procedures for resolving organizational and technical issues that may arise.

Coordinated work between the Registration Office of the PARASAT Student Service Center, the Department for the Organization of Educational and Methodological Work, the dean’s offices of the Higher Schools, academic departments, and other structural units of the University plays an important role in ensuring the effective implementation of these processes.

The meeting also emphasized the need for timely verification of curricula and the updating of information in academic information systems. Particular attention was given to informing students about registration dates and procedures, as well as providing advisory support through academic advisors.

As a result of the meeting, the main tasks for preparing for the second semester and further improving the academic process were identified. Their implementation will ensure the timely preparation of the class schedule, organized student registration for courses, and coordinated work among all participants in the educational process.
