DELEGATION FROM THE PEOPLE’S REPUBLIC OF CHINA VISITS AMANZHOLOV UNIVERSITY

A delegation from the People’s Republic of China, on an official visit to the East Kazakhstan Region, visited Sarsen Amanzholov East Kazakhstan University. The delegation included Cheng Gang, President of the Association for Foreign Trade and Economic Cooperation of the Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region and expert in international business.

During the meeting, the parties discussed the development of higher education, scientific research, academic mobility, and international cooperation. Particular focus was placed on prospective collaboration in faculty and student exchange, joint research initiatives, the implementation of international educational programs, and expanding institutional partnerships.

Today, Amanzholov University places strong emphasis on advancing international collaboration, actively partnering with leading universities worldwide and executing global educational and research projects. The visit of the Chinese delegation represents a natural continuation of the university’s systematic efforts to broaden its international network.

Following the meeting, both parties affirmed their commitment to further strengthening mutually beneficial cooperation, expanding knowledge exchange, and jointly launching new international initiatives. Such engagements reinforce the university’s international standing while opening new opportunities for students and early-career researchers.
