DUAL EDUCATION: PRACTICAL TRAINING FOR FUTURE SPECIALISTS

As part of the implementation of the dual education system, third-year students of the 6B0502 Ecology and 6B05203 Hydroecology, Management and Transboundary Water Security educational programs visited the PROMKHIMEKO Production Cooperative. The career-oriented visit was conducted under the guidance of Svetlana Anatolyevna Garmashova, Director of the branch and Candidate of Technical Sciences.

An introductory lecture was organized for the students as part of the Environmental Monitoring and Industrial Sanitation courses. During the session, future specialists learned about the purpose, operating principles, and practical application of instruments used to monitor parameters of the industrial environment.

Particular attention was paid to the practical use of lux meters, anemometers, psychrometers, hygrometers, sound level meters, vibration meters, and gas analyzers used to assess working conditions and monitor factors affecting the industrial environment.

The visit to the enterprise allowed students to deepen their theoretical knowledge, become familiar with modern methods of instrumental monitoring, and gain practical insight into the application of professional knowledge in environmental monitoring, industrial sanitation, and occupational safety.

Such activities are an important component of dual education, as they connect theoretical training with real production processes, contribute to the development of professional competencies, and broaden the outlook of future specialists.
