FOCUS ON UNIVERSITY DEVELOPMENT AND STUDENT COMFORT

A working meeting was held at Amanzholov University between The Chairman of the Board – Rector Jarassova Gulzhan Sagidullaevna and faculty members, vice rectors, and deans.

During the meeting, key issues related to the University’s further development and infrastructure improvement were discussed. In particular, the participants reviewed plans for the continued renovation of academic buildings, improvement of living conditions in student dormitories, upgrading of specialised classrooms, and modernisation of computer laboratories.

One of the current priorities is preparing the University for the winter season. Particular attention will be paid to improving the thermal insulation of academic buildings, ensuring comfortable conditions for students and staff, and completing the necessary repair and maintenance work in a timely manner.

A separate part of the discussion was devoted to the research activities of the faculty. A plan is currently being developed to intensify and promote faculty research publications, increase publication activity, and support the scientific initiatives of University staff.

While discussing the work plan for September, particular emphasis was placed on supporting students participating in regional and national competitions, including students taking part in the “Miss Ust-Kamenogorsk 2026” competition. It was proposed to provide informational support for the participants, including the placement of banners featuring their photographs and the organisation of voting campaigns in their support.

Following the meeting, the main areas of further work and priority tasks were identified, aimed at improving learning and living conditions for students, developing the University’s material and technical resources, and strengthening its research potential.
