“HONESTY IS THE FOUNDATION OF CHARACTER”: INTEGRITY HOUR HELD FOR STUDENTS

An Integrity Hour entitled “Honesty Is the Foundation of Character” was held at Sarsen Amanzholov East Kazakhstan University. The event was aimed at promoting the values of responsibility, fairness, and integrity among students.

The event was opened by Vice Rector for Educational and Social Affairs Zhannetta Amangeldiyevna. In her remarks, she emphasized the importance of a responsible attitude toward studies and personal actions, as well as adherence to the principles of academic integrity.

The speaker was Kainar Yerlanovich Zheksembayev, Head of the Anti-Corruption Compliance Service and Compliance Officer. During the discussion, participants addressed the development of personal moral values, corruption prevention, academic integrity, and responsible behavior in everyday life.

Adal Unzila Adalkyzy, Chair of the Student Kurultai, and students also joined the discussion. They exchanged views on promoting the principles of fairness and integrity among young people.

Particular attention was paid to the role of students in creating a positive ethical environment at the university. Compliance with academic standards, mutual responsibility, and respect for the principles of fairness are important elements of student life.

At the end of the event, it was emphasized that moral values begin with the personal position of each individual and are reflected in everyday actions.
