RECTOR OF AMANZHOLOV UNIVERSITY RECEIVES CERTIFICATE OF THE INTERNATIONAL “AI LEADERS 2026” PROGRAM

As part of the “Year of Artificial Intelligence” declared by President of the Republic of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, key initiatives aimed at advancing digital transformation are being actively implemented across the country’s higher education system.

One of the cornerstone projects in this direction was the international flagship program “AI Leaders 2026,” organized with the participation of Stanford HAI, OpenAI Academy, and Silkroad Innovation Hub. Led by world-renowned expert Peter Norvig, the program provided participants with the opportunity to master advanced governance and management models in the field of artificial intelligence.

At the Alem AI Expo platform, the Chairman of the Board – Rector of Sarsen Amanzholov East Kazakhstan University was among the 12 university leaders awarded the “AI Leaders” program certificate.

This achievement reflects Amanzholov University’s systematic commitment to digital advancement and innovative education. Today, the “AI Amanzholov” center operates successfully at the university, creating opportunities for students and young researchers to master artificial intelligence technologies.

Going forward, the university plans to continue expanding the region’s scientific and technological potential and advancing the “Smart University” concept, contributing to Kazakhstan’s digital future.
