SCIENCE BEGINS AT SCHOOL: A FESTIVAL WAS HELD AT AMANZHOLOV UNIVERSITY

Sarsen Amanzholov East Kazakhstan University concluded its “Month of Science” by holding a Science Festival for school students — a significant scientific and educational event aimed at developing students’ research potential and promoting science among young people.

As part of the festival, 33 scientific projects created by 51 students from grades 1–11 were presented. The projects covered two key areas: natural sciences and technology, as well as social sciences and humanities.

School students from various districts of the East Kazakhstan region took part in the event, including participants from the Zaisan, Samar, and Ulan districts, the city of Ridder, as well as specialized educational institutions for gifted children.

The topics of the presented research projects were notable for their relevance and practical orientation. Participants demonstrated projects in the fields of:
information technology and robotics, ecology and sustainable development, physics, chemistry and biology, social project development and volunteer activities, linguistics, literature, and cultural studies.

The Science Festival became an effective platform for developing students’ research skills, exchanging scientific ideas, and identifying promising young researchers.
