STUDENT SELECTION COMMISSION FOR THE MILITARY DEPARTMENT BEGINS WORK AT AMANZHOLOV UNIVERSITY

The student selection commission has begun its work at the Kabanbay Batyr Military Department of Sarsen Amanzholov East Kazakhstan University for students wishing to undergo military training.

The selection process began with the second stage — professional and psychological testing, which is being conducted in the University’s computer laboratory. The assessment evaluates students’ motivation to undertake military training, stress resilience, and their critical and logical thinking abilities.

The main purpose of the professional and psychological testing is to identify the personal qualities and abilities required for successful study at the Military Department.

The first stage of the selection process involves a medical examination. Only students who are found medically fit for military training are admitted to the subsequent stages of the competition.

At the third stage, candidates’ physical fitness is assessed through established standards. The fourth stage involves calculating rating scores and conducting the competitive selection.

Based on the results of all stages, the commission will determine the students to be admitted to military training on a competitive basis in accordance with the 2026 admission plan.
