STUDENTS FROM KYRGYZSTAN STUDY AT AMANZHOLOV UNIVERSITY UNDER THE ORHUN PROGRAMME

Students from the International University of the Kyrgyz Republic continue their studies at Sarsen Amanzholov East Kazakhstan University as part of the ORHUN academic mobility programme.

Aiperi Yergesheva, Anna Sergeyevna Kazantseva, and Amina Nursultanovna Aizhigitova are studying for one month in the 6B01707 Foreign Languages (IP) educational program.

The first weeks at the University have given the students an opportunity to become familiar with a new academic environment. They attend classes, communicate with faculty members and students, participate in University life, and gradually adapt to new learning conditions.

Studying at another university provides an opportunity not only to continue mastering professional disciplines but also to become familiar with different approaches to organizing the educational process. International academic mobility also contributes to greater independence, broadens students’ horizons, and develops intercultural competencies.

During their stay in Ust-Kamenogorsk, the students have also had an opportunity to learn more about the city, culture, and traditions of East Kazakhstan. New friendships and communication with their peers have become an important part of their experience in Kazakhstan.

Sarsen Amanzholov East Kazakhstan University provides the students with the necessary organizational and advisory support regarding their studies, accommodation, and adaptation.

The ORHUN programme contributes to the development of academic ties between higher education institutions of Central Asian countries, creating opportunities for the exchange of knowledge, educational experience, and cultural traditions.
