“TAZA QAZAQSTAN”: CLEANLINESS BEGINS WITH US

As part of the nationwide Taza Qazaqstan environmental campaign, first-year students of the Russian-medium Ecology educational program at Sarsen Amanzholov East Kazakhstan University took an active part in a clean-up and landscaping campaign around Academic Building No. 4.

The main goal of the event was to promote environmental awareness among students, foster a responsible attitude toward the environment, increase environmental responsibility, and involve young people in practical environmental protection activities.

During the clean-up campaign, the first-year students cleaned the area surrounding the academic building, collected fallen leaves and household waste, and tidied up green spaces and pedestrian pathways.

This initiative is particularly significant for future environmental specialists. By participating in the improvement of the University grounds, the students demonstrated in practice their commitment to the principles of environmental protection, environmental awareness, and sustainable development.

Participation in the Taza Qazaqstan campaign is not only a contribution to the cleanliness and improvement of the University grounds but also an important step in shaping the professional outlook of future specialists.

Such initiatives strengthen team spirit, encourage diligence and civic engagement, and help students understand that every individual is responsible for the condition of the environment.

Through their example, the students showed that caring for nature begins with simple but meaningful actions – keeping clean the places where we study, work, and live.
