WELCOME CENTER FOR INTERNATIONAL STUDENTS OPERATES AT AMANZHOLOV UNIVERSITY

Sarsen Amanzholov East Kazakhstan University operates a Welcome Center designed to help international students adapt to University life, build connections, and discover new opportunities.

The Welcome Center is a joint project of two University units – the International Quality Department and the Til Alemi Center. Its main purpose is to support international students and University volunteers while creating a welcoming and friendly environment for students.

At the Center, students can receive advice on the educational process, accommodation, and the preparation of necessary documents. They can also adapt more easily to the University’s social and cultural life and practice foreign languages by participating in Speaking Club meetings.

As part of the Welcome Center’s activities, meetings introducing the cultures and traditions of different countries are organized, along with sports, cultural, and volunteer events. Students also have opportunities to make new friends and take part in joint initiatives and collaborative projects.

The Center strengthens connections between international students and the University community, promotes intercultural communication, and helps international students integrate more confidently into the academic environment.
